Tips: Underwear (for men)

Nobody likes chafing! So I wear these here at $22.00

Chafing can literally end a hike (make sure you always carry duct tape!). It is incredibly painful if you develop chafing from the repetitive motion of walking. It has happened me, and it has happened to hiking buddies, and it makes grown men cry!

So what do you do? First of all, ditch the cotton boxers. NOW!

All that excess material in cotton boxers is going to get damp, take ages to dry, bunch up in your pants, and start rubbing skin off your thighs. Find yourself a good pair of boxer briefs, designed for activity, and made with synthetic materials. I have several types: Under Armour, Old Navy, Jockey, and my favorite - Pair of Thieves. Pair of Thieves "Super Fit" are made of a super lightweight blend of spandex and polyamide. The material is a very fine mesh for maximum breathability. The waistband is designed for "no-roll", which you frequently get with cheaper products - and the ones that "roll" are a pain and sometimes uncomfortable. They feel great as well - super lightweight and stretchy.

Don't say you weren't warned!
